SOLLERÖN cushion covers: one modular set, many layouts
SOLLERÖN, designed for IKEA by Jonas Hultqvist, is a modular patio set with a rattan-look base. Corner and middle sections can be arranged as a two-, three- or four-seat sectional, or split into separate chairs on a balcony. That flexibility also means a typical set carries a lot of cushions – and on a sunny deck their fabric fades and stains much faster than the plastic rattan underneath.
The modules use IKEA's DUVHOLMEN or KUDDARNA outdoor cushions. To find out which you have, look for the line name on the sewn-in label. Since a sectional repeats the same cushion several times, count your seat and back cushions separately and order that number of each. All covers are made to the original IKEA cushion sizes, so a SOLLERÖN sectional looks even from end to end.

Fabrics for a sectional that lives outside
For SOLLERÖN we recommend fabrics marked Water repellent and Easy clean – rain beads off, and barbecue sauce comes off with a damp cloth. If kids or pets use the sectional as a trampoline, add Scratch resistant to the list. Fire retardant and Virus protect options are available too. Between solid weaves, melange textures and darker shades that hide dirt, the 120+ fabrics cover most tastes.
Why new covers beat a new sectional
